

A triumph of Sun-Tzu Liao's diplomatic skill, the Trinity Alliance was created as a military and economic alliance between the Capellan Confederation and the periphery states of the Magistracy of Canopus and the Taurian Concordat. Dominated by the Capellan confederation the Trinity Alliance has strengthened the hand of the Capellan Confederation, enabling Sun-Tzu to retake the St. Ives Compact and propel the Capellan Confederation a level of influence previously unknown to this traditionally weakest of the Successor States.
The Alliance's benefits to the Canopians and the Taurians are a mixed blessing. Capellan military technology, industrial know-how and commerce have materially benefited the power of both periphery states. However some feel the costs of being dragged into House Liao's ambitions do not outweigh these benefits.
In Mekwars: Legends the Trinity Alliance forms merges all three states into a single faction for purposes of the campaign. This faction continues its traditional role as sworn enemy of the Federated Suns and political rival of the Free Worlds League. In addition Sun-Tzu's continued ambitions in the Chaos March will certainly lead to rivalry and conflict with the factions that inhabit that region and their allies.
