The Smoke Jaguars were in the midst of a technological breakthrough when they were destroyed by the Inner Sphere. The other Clans quickly scrambled to pick up the pieces left behind by the shattered Smoke Jaguars and one of the most valuable pieces was the Protomech program. Somewhere in between a Mech and a Battle Armor suit the Protomech allows it pilot to mesh with machine like never before. While no match for a mech one-on-one deployed in Stars Protomechs have proved their value, taking down unwary Mechs and displaying strong anti-infantry capabilities.
Protomech Deployment Rules
Rule: Protomechs may only be deployed in full Stars of five (5) Protomechs. Deployment in partial Stars is prohibited.
Rule: Protomechs
may only be deployed by Clan Factions.
Rule: A player may only deploy one star of Protomechs per NICU in the force.
