While mechs may be kings of the battlefield, it is the
Aerospace jocks that wrestle control of the space that allows the
Dropships and their mech cargo to reach planet side. The arrival of a
warship and its accompanying fighters can signal the decisive moment in a campaign, and these aerospace assets can wrestle away control of a
system as sure as a regiment of mechs.
Aerospace Asset Rules:
For Aerospace Superiority and Air Superiority Operations there are currently no restrictions on force composition.
For standard ground operations with aerospace support the following rules apply:
- Aerospace fighters are not allowed in games under 12K total BV.
- No more then four fighters may be deployed in games under 30K total BV.
- The aerospace component of a force may not exceed 20% of the armies total BV
